Help us find them

Know somewhere good in Bolton?

Tell us who we should be visiting. It takes a minute, and half of what ends up on here started as somebody sending us a name.

  • Every suggestion is read by a person
  • We go and see it before anything is written
  • You do not have to leave your name

Is it your own business? Tell us about it here instead — there is a bit more we will want to know.

Where should we go?

No details needed

We use what you send only to get in touch about this. Nothing is shared with anyone else.

What happens to it

Suggestions are how we find half of what we visit.

  1. 01

    We read it

Suggestions go on the list the day they come in. We do not need much — a name and a town is enough to go on.

  2. 02

    We go and look

If it sounds like our sort of place, we visit. Nothing gets written about from a website and a photograph.

  3. 03

It goes up, or it does not

We only put our name to places that live up to it. That is the whole reason a suggestion from you is worth something.
