Why there is no banner

UK law says you have to ask permission before setting cookies, unless those cookies are strictly necessary for the service to work. We do not use any others, so there is nothing to ask you about. Rather than put a pointless box in front of you, we have written this page.

What we do set

Sign-in cookies for the admin area. The private part of this site, where we manage listings, uses cookies to keep the person signed in. These are set by our database provider, Supabase. They are only set if you sign in to that area, which is not open to the public — so as an ordinary visitor you will never receive them.

What we do not set

• No analytics — we do not use Google Analytics or anything like it.
• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No social media tracking pixels.
• No third-party fonts calling home — the typefaces are served from this site, not from Google.

Which means we cannot tell you how many people visited this page. We are fine with that for now.

Other sites

When you follow a link from here to a business’s own website, their booking system, or Instagram, you are on their site and their cookie rules apply, not ours.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking all cookies will not affect your browsing of this site, since nothing public here depends on them.

If we ever add analytics or anything that tracks you, we will update this page and ask for your consent properly before setting anything. More on how we handle information generally is in our privacy notice.
